EXCERPTS
On TNPL and IPL:
Ashwin: TNPL is an important tournament. It is good to see a lot of players from TNPL to play in the IPL. It’s a great platform for youngsters and TN players to make a mark.
On whether there is extra pressure to perform (to get picked in IPL):
Jagadeesan: Pressure is always there. It’s about how you cope with it. If we perform under pressure, it adds value.
On participating in RCB trials:
Jagadeesan: I didn’t get picked but I am happy at least they called me. It’s something to cherish. It was good playing big bowlers like Tymal Mills etc. It was a good experience.
On maintaining consistency from last season:
Jagadeesan: It’s going to be difficult because the bowlers will have a different plan; they will not bowl the same type of deliveries to me. So, it’s important for me to have plan B as well to counter attack.
