Coming on the back of three successive wins in the knockout stages, the Pirates will look to make it a quadraple of victories in a bid to complete a hat-trick of titles. The swashbuckling duo of ‘Dubki King’ Pardeep Narwal and Monu Goyat will have their task cut out against one of the best corner combinations in the world.

Pardeep Narwal, the topper in the ‘Best Raider of the tournament’, has been in ruthless form amassing an astonishing tally of 350 raid points in the 25 games thus far. He would want to leave no stone unturned by clinching his third silverware in two years.

Defensive pairing of Vishal Mane and Sachin Shingade has had a terrible outing this season notching up only 61 points in the 25 appearances together.  On the other hand, Gujarat Fortunegiants will bank on youngster Sachin in the raiding department. He has had an impressive season with 162 total points. The 18-year-old will have to work in tandem with the experienced Sukesh Hegde to pose a threat to a side which is full of confidence.

The Ahmedabad based franchise boasts of a terrific defensive unit, which has racked 249 tackles at an average of 11 per game. Iranian pillars Fazel Atrachali and Abozar Mohazer Mighani in unison have been the best of the lot as far as corner defenders are concerned. Manpreet Singh, who was then the skipper of title-winning Patna Pirates in PKL Season 3, will look to complete a rare double of winning the event as a coach and as a player in just the fifth season of the Pro Kabaddi League.

The team, playing only in its inaugural edition, will look to take the trophy home after impressing in the group stages by finishing on top of the points table in Zone A. It won 15 out of its 22 league games before coming up trumps against the Surjeet Singh-led unit.
