Local League: Akshdeep Nath guides Triplicane SC to easy win in TNCA second division league

Akshdeep Nath scored an unbeaten century to guide Triplicane Sports Club to a convincing nine wicket win over Aruna Cricket Club in the TNCA second division league game here. Replying to Aruna CC’s 214, Triplicane SC coasted to the total in 35.4 overs.

In another match, Paras Dogra smashed 143 runs off 95 balls to help Sir Theagaraya Recreation Club register an 87-run victory over Royapettah Cricket Club. S Surya Sree also scored a ton to propel Central United Club to a huge 177-run win over Gems Cricket Club in a third division league match.

Riding on M Thangadurai’s 110, Globe CC earned a 28-run win over St. Mary’s CC in the fifth division ‘A’ of the TNCA league. His effort was ably complemented by P Sanjay Kumar who impressed with ball taking five for 62.
