Twin strikes from Aswin Kujur, goals from Rakesh Tete and Dheelepan sealed the contest for ICF. Aswin was awarded with the ‘Man of the Match’ Trophy for his brace.

Despite opening the account only in the 28th minute, ICF managed to preserve its lead at the end of the first half. It then dominated the rest of the game, scoring three goals to brush off any chances of IOB getting back into the contest.

ICF scored two goals in a matter of eight minutes in the second half, with Aswin and Dheelepan striking at the 51st and the 59th minutes respectively. Vinod Rayar was the first from IOB to put his name onto the scoresheet in the 66th minute, proving too late to make a comeback.

In the other semi-final, Southern Railway came up trumps against Hockey Academy with a scoreline of 2-0. SR opened the scoring in the 15th minute courtesy a goal from Dinesh Kumar. It then extended its lead in the second half, with Manoj putting the ball into the back of the net.

ICF and SR will square off in the final at 5:15 pm awhile IOB and Hockey Academy will lock horns for the third place play-off match at 3:30 pm.
