Local League: Dinesh guides Triplicane CC to win

Dinesh Kumar’s efforts helped Triplicane skittle out Universal for a meagre total of 124. The winner chased down the target with five wickets in hand.

V Naveen Kumar scored 56 runs off 43 balls to help YSCA A defeat Chromepet CC by 14 runs in the 49th All-India YSCA Trophy tournament. He was presented the ‘Man of the match’ for his effort. In another match, V Srikrishna took four wickets as YSCA B beat Corporation Officials by 38 runs.

Harish scalped four wickets for just four runs as Adambakkam Cricket Academy registered a comfortable five-wicket win over AVM Cricket Academy in the Gen-Next Royal Rumble tournament (Under-13) here. AVM was reduced to 102 for seven in its 20 overs courtesy Harish’s stunning spell. He was presented with the Man of the Match for his match-winning effort.

R Nilesh Subramanian scored an unbeaten 65 as MAS Cricket Club defeated Parthasarathy MCC by six wickets in the TNCA Thiruvallur DCA League Championship league match here. Chasing 176 to win, MAS got to the target in 34.5 overs with Nilesh top-scoring with 65 runs.
