Summer camp for sailors

“The camp will be for beginners and will be an initiation for them,” said Kumanan, who is in-charge of the camp. The dates for the other batches are May 13, May 20 and May 27, 2018. The camp will be conducted using appropriate boat and will take place at the Chennai Harbour. 

Children between 8 and 14 years of age are eligible to be a part of it. The programme will consist of two stages – short theory lessons and session on water. 

The sailing camp will conclude with a regatta and a prize ceremony for all the participants. The course fee is Rs 7500, which includes student membership for the first year and YAI certification.
