It was a second straight win for Tuti Patriots who were given a scare by Lyca's lower-order, but they held on.
Athisayaraj Davidson was fantastic with his yorkers towards the end, he did enough to suppress the late charge.
Akash Sumra backed him up nicely too. The damage was done at the top though, with Lyca managing just 41 in the powerplay. They were off to a sluggish start and were never able to catch up.
Tuti Patriots openers Kaushik Gandhi and S Dinesh's 89-run partnership along with Akshay Srinivasan's quick 45 off 21 deliveries led them to par score against the Kovai Kings at Dindigul.
Kovai Kings were good in the death overs by providing only 41 runs in the last 6 overs. The platform provided by the openers and Srinivasan threatened a total beyond 200 at one point with Ganesh's fifty being the pivot around which the others rallied.
The Kings' bowlers were being carted and fielding was unbelievably dismal. However, Mukund's men held their nerve in the death overs to ensure that they haven't been batted out of the game.
Brief Scores: Lyca Kovai Kings 160/8 (Akkil Srinaath 35, Ravi Kumar Rohith 25, Akash Sumra 3/32) lose to Tuti Patriots (182/7) by 11 runs
