CSG's innings sums up that the batting woes this season who were the defending champions last year. They never really got momentum after the Powerplay and wickets kept falling, the set batsmen didn't carry on and in the end, this is a poor performance.
Only Gopinath and Aarif got some sort of a score while the others just capitulated in the face of some tight bowling from the Dragons.
The bowling was good and fielding was top class, definitely the best innings this season.
Silambarasan, Nag and Varun were the standout performers for the Dragons, their efforts meaning that it's a straightforward chase for Jagadeesan's boys.
Unlike the few tracks at Tirunelveli, this pitch doesn't seem a deck where 120 can be a fighting score.
Brief Scores: Chepauk Super Gillies 120/10 (A Aarif 36, Gopinath 25; M Silambarasan 3/16) in 19.3 overs. Dindigul Dragons need 121 runs to win
