CFC ‘B’ off to winning start
Chennaiyin FC ‘B’ got its Second Division League campaign off to a perfect start with a 3-2 win over Bengaluru FC ‘B’ at the SSN College Ground here on Monday.

Karaikal-born S Senthamizhi scored the winner in the 85th minute for the home team. Wing-back Ahino Paul found Sahil Kumar, who played a delightful cross-field pass to Zonunmawia.
The Mizoram-based midfielder then found Senthamizhi, who made no mistake.
Earlier, Balkar Singh cancelled out BFC’s opener in the first half, with Zonunmawia giving CFC the lead in the second period.
Victor Chennaiyin will next meet Bhawanipore FC in its second home fixture here on Friday.
Result: Chennaiyin FC ‘B’ 3 (Balkar Singh 36’, Zonunmawia 62’, S Senthamizhi 85’) beat Bengaluru FC ‘B’ 2 (Biswa Kr Darjee 33’ (P), Advait 72’).
