India batter Virat Kohli has revealed that being picked by Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was an impactful moment in his life, which he didn't realise back then. Virat has been a part of RCB since 2008 and became a full-time captain in 2013, after replacing Daniel Vettori. He announced that he will not be the captain of the team after IPL 2021. "I was in Malaysia for the World Cup, and I remember the day when the drafts were happening. The Under-19 dynamic was a little different because we rightly had a huge pay gap. That was the only time there was cap on how much can a player be picked for if you have not played for India.
