Leader of Opposition MK Stalin sought the Speaker P Dhanapal to adopt a resolution against the Centre on beef row. “In protest against the Centre’s move, the state Assemblies, including Kerala, had adopted resolutions against the new restrictions.
This Assembly should join issue with the list of states which had opposed the Centre’s recent notification by adopting a resolution to that effect,” Stalin said. In reply to Stalin, Palanisamy categorically stated that the government would act according to the majoritarian views prevailing on the subject.
