Speaking to the media, Dinakaran said, the government should be brought down since it is more dangerous than dengue.
He further said party leader VK Sasikala had sought release on parole for 15 days and hoped that her request would be accepted.
Charging the outgoing Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao with not functioning in a proper manner, he said he had brought disrepute to the Central government. He also wanted the new Governor Banwarilal Purohit to function without any partisanship.
When asked about DMK working president MK Stalin’s assertion that the government would fall in a few days, Dinakaran said the DMK leader MK Stalin could have made the remarks since the case on floor test would be coming up on October 4.
He also denied that his party was acting in collusion with the DMK and added that they had only approached the court on the same issue.
Countering TTV Dinakaran’s contention, AIADMK MP Vasanthi said Dinakaran’s supporters would desert him after Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami obtained the ‘Two Leaves’ symbol.
