Former minister KP Munusamy claimed a moral victory citing that camp Sasi could not produce any supporting documents.  “They could not produce any documents. They are afraid of losing their claim, which is why they are asking for more time and employing delaying tactics. We have submitted all documents to support our claims. We have also made our arguments before the EC,” he observed. Seconding his views, Law Minister C Ve Shanmugam stated that the faction led by Edappadi K Palaniswami and O Panneerselvam is the original AIADMK.

“TTV Dinakaran’s dream of this government crumbling down before Tamil month Thai will never be realised. All that he had submitted as proof for their hold in the party are false. His actions are in tandem to fulfil the DMK’s wish, which too would not fructify,” Shanmugam said.

“He has no locus standi to talk about the legacy of neither late CMs and party supremos J Jayalalithaa and MGR. We will secure the party symbol while Dinakaran and his company has been acting deliberately to delay the deciding of the case. We are expecting the ruling in the case by November 10,” he added. Dinakaran, whose camp is also staking claims for the party will also attend the hearing which is scheduled on Monday.
