The senior AIADMK leader, who was with the Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam when he parted ways from the parent organisation, said, “Dinakaran still has power and as he is getting inputs from intelligence agencies. He may have some information to make such a prediction.”
Madhusudhanan also demanded a probe into the assets of sidelined AIADMK leader VK Sasikala saying such a probe would bring out shocking revelations. The former minister, who was strongly pitching for the party ticket to contest from RK Nagar by-poll also softened his stand and said he would abide by the decision of the party leadership on the issue. He also added that the AIADMK under Palaniswami and Panneerselvam is the real one and it would get ‘Two Leaves’ symbol.
After getting the symbol, the bitterness between party workers would vanish and the AIADMK would function unitedly, he said. Speaking to reporters at Cuddalore, the senior leader came down heavily on Dinakaran, who had declared that he would contest in the by-election to be held before December. Madhusudhanan said Dinakaran is not even a member of the party and asked if Dinakaran could show his party membership card. Former CM J Jayalalithaa was aware that Dinakaran had betrayed the party, he said.
