Jaya TV interviews Duraimurugan

Having invited their bitter rivals to badmouth Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami and his deputy O Panneerselvam, and that too on Jaya TV, which until recently was the mouthpiece of the party and the government, has taken the intra-party rivalry to a new low, according to political observers. 

The television channel aired the interview of the DMK headquarters secretary on the most recent I-T raids that did not spare even Poes Garden. During the interview, Duraimurugan questioned the motive behind the recent I-T raids, and also criticized some of the past I-T raids, mainly the raid that took place in state health minister Vijayabhaskar’s house during RK Nagar polls when most of the current ministers, including the incumbent CM had been campaigning for TTV Dinakaran. 

Meanwhile, veteran lyricist Vairamathu called on DMK patriarch at his residence late on Sunday. Party sources clarified that it was a courtesy visit.
