Speaking to reporters in Karur, Thambidurai reiterated that there is no split in the AIADMK as of now and both the unified Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy CM O Panneerselvam factions have been confirmed as the real AIADMK and they have also obtained the party symbol. He pointed out that, whenever, the party symbol was regained after freezing over disputes, the group which obtained the symbol back had witnessed massive victories. “Similarly, the party candidate E Madhusudhanan would win with a remarkable difference as the people are always with us,” Thambidurai said. Meanwhile, he warned the elected members, who won in the party symbol of ‘Two Leaves’ from working against the party.
He hoped that more Dinakaran supporters would come back to the mother party and said the AIADMK leaders are ready to welcome them.
He added that actor Vishal’s entry will not affect the AIADMK and the actor will gain nothing by contesting.
