CBSE board exams to be held in March, practicals in January

The practical examination will begin from January next year. Earlier, in its circular, CBSE had asked the schools to upload the practical marks on the website by February 25. 

It was earlier reported that CBSE was contemplating conducting the exams earlier than usual for error-free evaluation.  “We plan to complete portions in such a way that there is enough time to finish the syllabus and for students to write the revision tests. It is a relief that the exams will be conducted as we expected, in March,” said Ramya SK, a teacher in a CBSE school in the city. 

CBSE has also instructed all the schools to ensure that their teachers of classes 9 to 12 register themselves on the examination portal and fill in the teacher’s database. 

The dates of the examination for both Class 10 and 12 board exams will be released in January.
