I was a fast bowler in my childhood: Rajini

The Superstar also surprised the audience by revealing that he was a fast bowler during his childhood days, as well as being a decent batsman. “I’m meeting everyone in the cine industry after quite a while, and this makes me very happy. Travelling in the same flight from Chennai to Malaysia with other actors was a wonderful experience. Today, I managed to meet all my beautiful heroines from down the years... somebody please preserve the moment!” smiled the Superstar. 

Later, at the stadium and addressing the Malaysian spectators, he remarked, “Malaysia is a second home to me; I spent so much time here during the shoot of Kabali. I’m meeting you all after two years, and I have a lot more to tell you soon.” 

Whereas Kamal, who had taken the stage with Rajinikanth, also said, “The youngsters in the industry are doing such a fantastic job here – I finally believe that my dream of constructing a Nadigar Sangam building will happen soon.”

Several actors such as Karthi, Sivakarthikeyan, Suriya, Vishal, etc have flown to Malaysia for the mega event. At the airport, Vishal became the latest Kollywood star to endorse the Superstar. “I will go to all the 234 constituencies to ask votes for Rajini sir – I’m so happy that a leader has come to politics, as it is the best place to serve people. I believe he will show the path forward.”
