Don’t allow migrants in government posts: Tamil Desiya Periyakkam
Tamil Desiya Periyakkam president P Maniarasan has claimed that states like Gujarat and Maharashtra only allow people belonging to their state in government employment.

But, Tamil Nadu has otherwise been allowing other state people to get employed in government postings here. He made an appeal to stop such practices and urged to draft an amendment in this regard. Speaking to the reporters, Maniarasan said, once there was a provision for appearing for examination for Union government recruitment only.
But currently, it has been practised in the state government employments too and so the government had called for an examination scheduled on February 11. It has allowed even migrants from Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet to take the examination by giving a provision to learn Tamil within two years of their appointment.
