“Since the department has eased the registration process, property owners can approach such centres where their documents will be entered following which details will be sent to newly-launched software in the registration offices,” read the statement. Those who are interested in undergoing training can approach their district registrar offices by logging on https://tnreginet.gov.in/ to know their jurisdiction, the release noted.

Meanwhile, the officials claimed that though the new online system faced glitches in various districts, the system was being restored. “We have registered a total of 8,017 documents in nine regions in the state in the last three days,” the officials mentioned in the release.
