Police were routinely checking vehicles on the Cheyyar-Kancheepuram road when they found two juveniles acting in a suspicious manner. The duo were seen looking at the parked two-wheelers nearby. Getting suspicious about their activities, the cops pulled in both for questioning.
Interrogation revealed that the youth, both below 18 years, were in the habit of stealing two wheelers and selling them to get money to enjoy a lavish life.
Their confessions led to the cops recovering 10 two-wheelers which had been stolen from Cheyyar and Kancheepuram areas, said police. Both of them were produced before the Cheyyar court which ordered that they be sent to the government juvenile home at Cuddalore. Following this, both were admitted to the Cuddalore juvenile home on Thursday.
