The family court, at Madurai, had issued stay for Dr. Ramasamy, founder of Ramasamy IAS(RIAS) academy, New Delhi, to marry any woman  on Friday.

Recently, after obtaining  divorce Sasikala Pushpa had decided to marry Ramasamy and their marriage invitation was widely shared in social media. On seeing the invitation and the news of their marriage a woman, Sathyapriya, along with her one year old daughter, Rithushna, claimed that she was the wife of Ramasamy and demanded Madurai Collector to prevent the marriage.

She had also filed a Hindu Marriage Original Petition(HMOP) at Family Court in Madurai in which she had stated that she married Ramasamy on December 10, 2014, in the presence of both the family members at Padma Marriage hall in Madurai.

During the marriage Ramasamy had lied to her about his profession and had harassed her. He had even sexually abused her and in the meantime she delivered a girl baby on December, 23, 2016.

Recently she had learnt through news that her husband was going to get married to another woman and so had approached the Court to stop the marriage.

However counsel representing Ramasamy had argued that during his client's marriage with Sathyapriya, she had suppressed the fact that she was earlier married to another man Palanisamy, in 2012, who was also mentally affected. So the petition should be disposed, argued the counsel.

The court however rejected the arguments of the defence counsel as the facts mentioned for arguments were wrong and issued stay for Ramasamy to marry any woman before disposing the current HMOP.

With this stay, the marriage planned between Sasikala Pushpa and Ramasamy, on March 26, is all set to be cancelled.
