One year of EPS government a pain, not gain, says Dhinakaran
Ridiculing the first anniversary celebrations of Edappadi K Palaniswami led state government, Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam leader and RK Nagar MLA TTV Dhinakaran said that the people have been looking at it as a painful event and not an achievement. “It is a celebration of cheating anniversary,” he added.

Speaking to reporters, Dhinakaran said, all through the year, the ministers and the people close to them are benefited and not the public. He said that Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, who has been waging a ‘dharma yutham’ to remove the government, has now been supporting it. “He will do anything for his self interest,” Dhinakaran said referring to OPS.
Meanwhile, he said, despite both EPS-OPS claim that they have been leading a government of MGR and Jayalalithaa, in reality they have been running the government for their family’s sake. Asking Panneerselvam to respond to the charges of former MP KC Palaniswamy, Dhinakaran called OPS an opportunist and claimed he received money and the Deputy Chief Minister post.
He also asked Chief Minister Palaniswami to break his silence at least now, as the Centre had reduced 90 per cent of fund to the state. In the meantime, Dhinakaran said that his party will never align with communal forces at any point of time.
