AP woman, child united with family
A poor peasant family from Andhra Pradesh was overjoyed when they not only found their long lost daughter, but also their grandson who was cured of health issues due to action initiated by the Vellore district administration on Thursday.

Officials said Ganga Jamuna of Somal Mandal in AP, who was pregnant and lost her mental balance was seen wandering in the state. She gave birth to a male child at Sempalli near Gudiyattam on August 1, 2017.
A Tirupattur-based NGO took both under its care and provided necessary psychiatric treatment to her and to the new born child which had health issues. Ganga Jamuna regained her memory and revealed her address in AP. Members of the NGO traced her husband and parents. Vellore Collector SA Raman united the parents with their daughter and grandson.
