Cauvery dispute: TN files contempt petition against Center in SC
The Centre also sought three months from the Apex Court for implementing its February 16, 2018 order.

The Tamil Nadu government has filed a contempt petition before the Supreme Court against the Centre for failing to set up the Cauvery Management Board within stipulated period of six weeks.
The Central government also filed a clarification plea asking the court whether it can modify the composition of the Cauvery Management Board (CMB).
Advocate Uma Pati, appearing for the Tamil Nadu government, said the matter will be mentioned before the Top Court on Monday.
Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Pondicherry, involved in the Cauvery water dispute case, had filed petitions seeking modification of the Cauvery tribunal's final order which was delivered in 2007.
Kerala government had also filed a review petition on March 22, before the Supreme Court in the case.
The sharing of waters of the Cauvery river has been the source of a conflict between many states including Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
