Addressing party men during a private function in Perambalur this morning, Stalin referred to the most recent Supreme Court order directing the state government to implement the Lokpal Act and the ruling AIADMK’s silence on the issue. He said, “The ruling dispensation is trying to make the most of this tenure because they are aware that they would not return to power again. The DMK will form the government soon. Implementing Lokpal would be our first task. We will investigate the AIADMK Ministers indulging in corruption now. Over 90 per cent of the AIADMK ministers would not be outside prison then,” he added accusing the ruling AIADMK of singing paeans to the Centre instead of securing the rights of the state.
