Watery grave for four kids in Madurai village

The victims, who were all related to each other, had gone to the farm along with their grandfather, Sundararaj. The kids were reportedly playing while Sundararaj was watering the plants.

Sundararaj then went back to the house without realising that he had left the children at the farm itself.

Immediately he returned only to find the four missing. He searched in various places near the farm but could not locate them.

Sundararaj then alerted his family members, who started searching for them in the village. Finally, when the family members checked the water body, they shocked to find the bodies of the four children there. They retrieved the bodies and informed the Silaiman police, who reached the spot and conducted inquiries. The cops have registered a case of accidental death under section 174 of CrPC.
