Regional parties to poll more than BJP, Congress in 2019: KCR
Rajyasabha Member and DMK leader Kanimozhi met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in Chennai on Monday. Both of them have discussed national politics.

Rao said that on different issues only when the regional parties are strong enough, the federal spirit would sustain.
The Chief Minister predicted in the 2019 election, all the regional parties put together would secure more votes than the BJP and Congress. He expressed hope that the regional parties will play a crucial and key role in national politics.
Kanimozhi, who complimented and congratulated the Chief Minister for his efforts, said that the regional parties should be more united and work together for the development of the nation and the states, a statement from Chief Minister’s Office in Hyderabad said.
Rao briefed Kanimozhi about Kaleshwaram Irrigation project, Mission Bhagiratha, purification of land records and investment support scheme for agriculture and farmers.
Kanimozhi told the Chief Minister that she would come to Hyderabad shortly and besides visiting Kaleshwaram project and also study the Mission Bhagirtha scheme.
TRS Parliamentary Party leader Keshav Rao, Minister for Finance Etela Rajendra, MP B Vinod Kumar, whip Palle Rajeshwar Reddy, Mission Bhagiratha Vice-Chairman Vemula Prashanth Reddy, MDC Chairman Seri Subhash Reddy participated in the meeting.
