Aavin abroad: In Dubai, Hong Kong by May end
After setting up sales in Singapore, Aavin is all set to make its presence felt in Dubai and Hong Kong by the end of this month. The next stop is Sri Lanka.

A special pack designed especially for the two markets has been created and the milk variety sold would be ultra-heated-treated, commonly called UHT milk, with a shelf-life of six-months. The sale would be officially launched by end of this month by Dairy Development Minister KT Rajenthra Bhalaji.
“Our milk has conformed to their set of quality standards in the respective market. The certifications are complete and we have identified export agents who had carried out market study prior to the purchase order. We would also have our stamp in Sri Lanka,” said C Kamaraj, Managing Director, Aavin.
Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers Federation popularly known as Aavin which had set up its base in Singapore in November 2017 has sold 56,000 litres of milk so far. There are orders for another 60,000 litres in the pipeline to Singapore and the same would be processed by Aavin.
