Supplementary board exams schedule out

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) on Wednesday announced the schedule for supplementary exams for those who failed in Class 10 and 12 board examinations.

The examination can also be attempted by students who were absent for the original tests. Accordingly, the supplementary exam for Class 12 will be held between June 25 and July 4, while Class 10 students will write their exams between June 28 and July 6.

Candidates will be able to download the exam hall tickets from the directorate’s website.

The first exam for Class 12 students will be Tamil paper I, followed by Tamil paper II. The exams for main subjects, including chemistry and accountancy, will commence on June 29. Exams for mathematics, commerce, zoology and microbiology will be held the next day. Exams for Physics, Economics and other vocational subjects will be conducted on the last day.

For Class 10, Tamil paper I exam will be held on June 28, followed by Tamil paper II. The next exams will be English I, followed by English paper II. Mathematics exam is scheduled on July 3, which will be followed by exams for science, social science and optional language.
