Madras High Court migrating to new case information system

The Madras High Court is migrating to a new case information system as part of the scheme to bring about a nationwide uniformity on certain procedures like filing, objection, registration, listing and Adjudication.

MHC, Registrar General, C Kumarappan, in a circular said to bring about nationwide uniformity and for creating National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG), all high courts were recommended to change their technical platform to ‘High Courts’ Case Information System National Core Version 1.0 (HC CIS NC V1.0), with liberty to design their own software mechanism for the peripheral areas like, process service, issuance of certified copies, accounts in compatible with the core version.

Noting that new system was already been implemented in several high courts and some are in process of migration, Registrar General said utmost care and precaution has been taken to avoid inconvenience.
