TET to be conducted this month end
Online registration for Tamil Nadu Teacher’s Eligibility (TET) is expected to begin by the end of October with Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) likely to release a notification within a week. More than six lakh candidates are expected to appear for TET this year.

TRB has been authorised by the School Education Department for conducting the test to fill teacher vacancies in elementary (Class 1 to Class 5) and middle school (Class 6 to Class 8).“This year the exams will be conducted by October end. A notification will be issued in this regard in few days,” a senior official from TRB said, on Friday.
According to the official, during 2017, about 4.5 lakh teacher’s aspirants appeared for TET and this is year it is expected to cross 6 lakh.
Soon after the notification, the official added that 15 days will be given to all candidates for uploading their application forms through online process. “The results are expected to be out in a month after the completion of the test,” he added.
