Scamster of Mid-day meal programme must be sacked, says Stalin

MK Stalin slammed the Tamil Nadu government and demanded dismissal of Ministers who are involved in the Scam to the tune of Rs 2,400 crores.

The recent Income Tax department raid exposed the scam to the tune of Rs 2,400 crores which had allegedly taken place in the procurement of Egg, Dhal and other things for the Mid-day meal programme in Tamil Nadu schools. DMK chief MK Stalin demanded the dismissal of ministers named in the scam. 
The raid, which took place at the firm of a private egg supplier, allegedly exposed the scam in the procurement of commodities for mid-day meal programme. The Income Tax officials secured some documents and evidence that had details of the scam and Ministers involved in it. Moreover, the officials found some files which are supposed to be government's classified documents.
The DMK chief demanded legal action against the ministers in prevention of corruption act. He slammed the government for not taking any legal action against ministers and police officials involved in gudka scam. "The Chief minister is trying to dump everything by transferring officials investigating the scam", MK Stalin said.
