Lotus lamps to highlight BJP welfare schemes

Speaking to reporters, Tamilisai said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been providing various welfare schemes for the development of the people especially for those in Tamil Nadu. 

“The BJP workers will commence a door-to-door enumeration to mark the beneficiaries and light the Thamarai Deepam in their houses to highlight the Centre’s scheme,” she said. The houses of BJP cadres would also be branded ‘the BJP house’ for easy identification for party works, she added.

Stating that more youth has been showing interest in joining the BJP, Tamilisai said the BJP members’ houses would display a tag as ‘BJP house.’ “This would enable the willing members to easily approach BJP workers to join the party and execute the elections works in an efficient way,” she said.

A meeting to chart out the strategies to execute the works was held in Tiruchy on Tuesday where party workers discussed various issues.

Tamilisai also said that the party is already ready to face the Lok Sabha elections and accused the parties propagating against EVM manipulation. She asked whether the Congress has won the Assembly elections in three states recently by manipulating the EVMs.
