Kamal looks to Rajinikanth for support

“I hope that Rajini will support us. However, supporting us or not is the decision of Rajinikanth,” he said on Friday while returning after a public meeting in Tiruvarur.

When asked whether the MNM would lead a third front, he said that only honest parties could join the MNM and added, “We welcome such parties.”

While the Dravidian majors DMK and AIADMK are busy in forging alliance, Kamal was saying he and his party would contest alone in the Lok Sabha polls. Even though Kamal hinted of welcoming ‘honest’ parties, he again reiterated that the party would contest alone ‘as of now.’ He added that the party would issue applications  for LS polls. 

On manifesto, he said, “We will announce what we could follow and there is no urgency in releasing the election manifesto immediately.”
