DMK President and Tamil Nadu Opposition leader M K Stalin went to Subramanian's house, a CRPF jawan who was martyred in Pulwama terror attack, Savalaperi village in Tuticorin district and gave Rs two lakh to his family on Monday.
According to the DMK press statement, MK Stalin personally went to the martyred jawan's house to convey his deepest condolences to the bereaved members of the family, after giving cheque.
DMK Deputy general secretary I Periyaswamy, Rajya sabha member Kanimozhi and other leaders K N Nehru, Mrs Geetha Jeevan and Anitha Radhakrishan were also present.
It may be recalled that DMK president M K Stalin went to Sivachandran's house, a CRPF jawan, who was martyred in Pulwama terror attack, at Karkudi village in Ariyalur district and gave Rs two lakh to his family on Sunday, the statement said.
