The polling was peaceful with no major untoward incident report so far, CEO Satyabrata Sahoo told reporters.
Though gates of the polling booths were closed at 1800 hrs, those who were present inside were given tokens and would be allowed to vote in all the polling booths.
As of 1800 hrs, 69.55 per cent polling was recorded in Lok Sabha polls and 71.62 in Assembly bypolls.
Since polling was on in several booths, a final picture would be known late on Thursday night.
