Their grievance is that Kamal failed to console the family of Balamurugan, an MNM cadre from Panapalayam in Tirupur district, who died on the day of voting for Lok Sabha polls.
He was the party’s booth committee agent in Palladam and had involved in campaign activities for MNM. The members of AMK were accompanied by Balamurgan’s wife Vijayakumari, who claimed that Balamurugan was found dead in the ground floor of the party office on the next day of polling.
“As we have suspicion over the sudden death of my husband, a detailed investigation should be held. Also Kamal should be prohibited from campaigning for Sulur bypolls as he did not show any concern for his party men,” said Vijayakumari.
