Delhi HC to hear Makkal Needhi Maiam's proscription today
Kamal Hassan is bearing the brunt of his 'Hindu terrorist' remark across India. Many cases were filed against him. BJP's Lawyer Ashwani Kumar Upadhyaya appealed for the ban of the actor-turned-politician's party, in the Delhi High Court. The hearing is on Wednesday.

Reactions to actor-turned-politician Kamal Hassan's 'Hindu terrorist' remark is snowballing every passing day. This issue has lifted eyebrows across India. BJP lawyer Ashwani Kumar Upadhyaya has moved Delhi High Court to repeal the recognition of Kamal's party. The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday. This case is lead by Justice Rajendra Menon
Many BJP cadres and saffron-outfits have filed case against Kamal Hassan. The fringe group Hindu Sena has lodged a complaint against Kamal Hassan in the Patiala House claiming the MNM supremo's speech could insinuate religious tensions, this case goes for hearing on Thursday.
Back in the state, there is a huge outrage against the veteran actor. His effigy was burned in Nagarcoil, there were threats of attacking his Alwarpet office. 10 sub-inspectors are in place for 24-hour security.
Kamal Hassan's by-election campaign too, was stay put for two days. In the state too, many cases were reported against him. However, Kamal left for Thiruparangundram from Kodaikaanal, from where he will resume his campaign on Wednesday, as said by his party sources.
