Anna Univ to invite more industries for student programmes
Anna University has decided to invite more industries and multi-national companies, which are engaged in the manufacturing and production process, in the coming academic year for the tie-up to introduce various courses and training programmes for students.

In addition, the agreement will also support industrial visits and accomplishment of industrial projects and actively involved in providing placements for the students.
Anna University introduced “Consortium of Industries” scheme wherein industries which are engaged in manufacturing and production process or other related process will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University for various benefits to the students. Sources from the University said that the experts from industries would join the faculties to conduct refresher courses and training programmes for the students.
In addition, the tie-up will also support industrial visits and accomplishment of industrial projects and actively involved in providing placements for the students. Similarly, experts from the industries will be involved for the development of new programmes and courses for which there are sufficient demand in industries.
Industrialists will interact with the concerned Department of the University in restructuring the curriculum taking into account the topics of immediate and long term relevance to the industries.
