No political interference: Vishal

Speaking to media, after landing at Madurai airport, the actor said there would not be any interference from political parties in the elections. On behalf of the ‘Pandavar Ani’, Vishal had already filed his nomination papers for the post of general secretary to the South India Artists Association (SIAA). Further, he added the ‘Pandavar Ani’, which won the previous election, fulfilled its promises and gaining support from many. The team led by Vishal himself had been meeting all representatives and working out winning strategies. His visit to Madurai was aimed at garnering support from drama artists, he said. Earlier, Vishal was accorded a warm welcome by his fans at the airport, sources said.
