TN CM inaugurates buildings and bridges worth Rs 1,000 crore in a single day

TN Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami inaugurated newly built buildings and bridges worth over Rs 1,000 crore in Tamil Nadu in a single day on Friday.
The statement issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu read: -
Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami inaugurated the Green Park in Avadi, that was constructed under the Water Resources Department of Thiruvallur district which functions under the Tamil Nadu Public Works Department. The park was built under the motive to restore the environment in and around Paruthipaatu Lake in Avadi. The Chief Minister inaugurated the Paruthipattu Lake Green Park worth Rs 28.16 crore through a video call.
The park is built with the help of funding by the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board. The park is equipped with various amenities including a walkway, open space, viewing platforms, sports equipment, parking, snack building, boat ramp, and 3km walk around the lake.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated the dyke worth Rs 7 crore built across Kosasthalaiyaar in Thiruvallur District, underground barricade worth Rs 3 crore built across Malataatru in Salem, and other water resource projects and buildings constructed by the Public Works Department worth Rs 217.18 crore. He also opened the Arcot-Villupuram State Highway worth Rs 425.72 crore and opened 14 bridges and 3 railway bridges for public use in various districts of Tamil Nadu at an estimated cost of Rs 209.18 crore.
A storage warehouse worth Rs 12 crore built in behalf of the Department of Agriculture, with a capacity of 10,000 metric tons was opened by Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami in Pethampampatti regulatory sales markets in Udumalaipettai Circle in Tirupur District. He also opened the newly constructed buildings worth over Rs 171 crore through video call.
Ministers KC Karuppanan, Benjamin, Pandiyarajan, Sevoor Ramachandran, Udumalai Radhakrishnan, Duraikannu, Chief Secretary Girija Vaidyanathan, Government Secretaries and officials were present at the event.
In total, Edappadi Palanisamy inaugurated various unfinished projects in Tamil Nadu worth Rs 1,000 crore on Friday.
