Empty milk packets can be returned for money:Aavin

Tamil Nadu Government had banned usage of plastic for packaging in all sectors except for few items like milk. Aavin has issued an announcement to lessen plastic pollution.

In order to protect the environment it has proclaimed that consumers can exchange empty milk packets for 10 paise per packet from retail vendor, retail stores, sophisticated milk parlour, regional offices and dairy consumers’ cooperation.

Aavin also asked the Private milk parlours to be ready to accept the empty packets from the people.
