ISRO quiz winners to witness Chandrayaan-2 landing with PM

Students participating in an online space quiz organised by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), will have a chance to watch the landing of Chandrayaan-2 on the Moon live along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The quiz competition will be held between August 10 and 20.

The quiz is open for students studying from Class eight to ten. “This is a timed quiz with 20 questions to be answered in 600 seconds and the questions will be randomly picked from the question bank. Winners will be adjudged on the basis of maximum number of correct answers,” said ISRO officials.


Each participant needs to a create an account on ‘MyGov’ and is permitted to participate only once. In case of multiple participants having given same number of correct answers, the participants who take the least time, will be declared winner. In case of tie, random selection will be done. ISRO said that the quiz cannot be paused or stopped oncestarted.


The top two top-scoring students from each state and union territory will be invited to ISRO to watch Chandrayaan-2’s landing live along with the PM


The shortlisted students, will also need to provide an affidavit from the school confirming their student status. All students will receive a participation certificate.
