We exactly don’t want to learn the teaching of nationalism from who are the children of (founder of Hindu Mahasabha) Savarkar and (former RSS chief) Golwalkar. We are the children of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh, BR Ambedkar and Savitribai Phule. We chose truly stand by their ideals to protect out educational institutions, protect our Constitution and the country,” she said replying to a query on actor Rajinikanth’s comment on anti-CAA protest by the students across the country.
Rajinikanth who backed the BJP government on the CAA-NRC-NPR had urged the students to understand the issues around CAA, NRC and NPR before launching protests. “I urge the students to know about the issues, discuss it with their parents and professors and then protest. Otherwise, political parties will make use of them. Nobody knows how police will react. If an FIR is lodged, then it will become an issue in your life,” he had warned.
