Pattukkottai tense after petrol bomb hurled at BJP functionary’s house

According to sources, Rajkumar (37), a resident of Korikollai village near Pattukkottai and a BJP functionary, was in his house around 9.30 pm on Tuesday when two persons who were wearing masks came on a two-wheeler and hurled a petrol bomb at the houseand fled the spot.

As soon as the bomb exploded, the two-wheeler parked at Rajkumar’s house caught fire. Soon, Rajkumar and his family members doused the flames.

While a series of protests are on, the incident created flutter among residents in the area.

Meanwhile, Rajkumar lodged a complaint with the Pattukkottai police who registered a case and areinvestigating.
