TTD chief makes spot inspection of facilities for pilgrims in Tirumala
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy, along with Additional Executive Officer AV Dharma Reddy, on Friday morning made spot inspection of regions to monitor the facilities provided to the pilgrims.

After taking part in Anna Prasadam along with the devotees at Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasadam Complex, Reddy, speaking to media, said that the devotees have expressed happiness about drinking water facilities and also complimented on the TTD’s decision to ban plastic usage in Tirumala to protect the environs.
The Chairman said that the TTD had set up RO plants at all locations of the devotee congregation here to provide clean and pure Jala Prasadam. None of the devotees have made any complaint about plastic bottles ban and in fact, offering support for the noble cause,”he claimed.
Earlier, the inspection began from ATC followed by Vaikuntam Queue Complex and reached Supatham. Thereafter, they visited Kalyanakatta and inspected thetonsuring activity.
Later, the Chairman and Additional EO, inspected the shops and outlets near Sri Bedi Anjaneya temple and Anna Prasadam Complex where they personally verified the hygiene and taste of food.
TTD VSO Manohar, Dy EO of Srivari temple Harindranath, Dy EO of Anna Prasadam Nagaraja, Catering Officer GLN Shastri, Dy EO Kalyanakatta Selvam and others participated.
