For the first time in many days Tamil Nadu has recorded below 500.
Chennai as usual tops in the highest recorded cases with 309 positive cases, but the city too has seen a noticeable drop.
Neighbouring Thiruvallur and Chengalpattu takes the distant second and third highest record with 21 and 20 respectively.
The exemplary Coimbatore is continuing its good fight against coronavirus with zero case.
Other districts (10 districts) just records in single digits.
While only 385 positive cases emerged from the native population, 49 other cases are either abroad returnees or other state people.
