As a dare against the court orders not to have public celebrations on Vinayagar Chaturthi, Hindu Munnani tries to propose a win-win situation with low key celebrations.

The right-wing group assured that it will celebrate Vinayagar Chaturthi in public hewing to court and government orders, erecting idols in private premises and temples.

Leader of the group Kadeswara Subramaniam said that their organisation is serious about celebrating the festival without flouting physical distancing measures.

He gave his word that the Ganesh idols will be immersed in the evening in beaches without any crowd or mass procession in strict adherence to government and court orders. He requested co-operation from the respective authorities.
