COVID-19: Tamil Nadu records 5,783 fresh cases, 88 fatalities reported

Tamil Nadu has reported 5,783 fresh Coronavirus cases on Sunday, according to the bulletin of the state's health department. The total infected numbers have reached 4,63,480 in the state now.
The state saw 88 Covid-19 fatalities with in 24 hours. The total number of death toll stands at 7,836.
On the positive side, 5,820 patients have been discharged from various hospitals in the state today.
Chennai records 955 cases today. The other districts have registered 4,828 new covid cases in the past 24 hours.
